In its latest video preview, Sega has released details of the Empire campaign for Total War: Warhammer, the studio’s upcoming real-time strategy title.

As it is known in the Warhammer world, The Empire is comprised of the humans who live in the game universe. They are pitted against various other factions in a battle for superiority and sometimes survival.

According to PC Gamer, the Empire’s mechanics in Total War: Warhammer differ from other factions due to the faction’s reliance on offices. Certain office-holders in the right locations can provide significant bonuses for an Empire army. For example, Felix von Raukov holds the office of Treasurer and as such provides a 25 percent increase to resources and income from buildings.

In addition to the Empire, the other factions available at launch will be the Dwarfs, the Greenskins, and the Vampire Count. The first downloadable content pack will feature Chaos Warriors.

Total War: Warhammer will be released on April 28 for the PC.
