Fans of the DOOM franchise will be treated to a special Collector’s Edition when the game releases later this spring. In addition, developer Bethesda has also announced the bonuses that will be available to players who pre-order the game.
Buyers of the Collector’s Edition will receive a 12-inch tall statue of the Revenant that comes on an LED light-up base; the statue is modeled directly from the game’s 3D model. The package also includes the game housed in a custom metal case.
Xbox One owners who pre-order DOOM will also receive free copies of the original DOOM and DOOM II as well. After pre-ordering, game codes should arrive within 7-10 day to the buyer’s Xbox Message Center and can be redeemed online at the Xbox website.
In addition to the legacy titles, those who pre-order will receive a Demon Multiplayer Pack containing a Demon-inspired set of armor that has three skin variations. Also included are six Hack Modules, three ID patterns, and six metallic paint colors that players can use to customize the look of their weapons and armor.
Doom releases on May 13 and will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
